Little Loop ("we", "us", "our") operates the Frame, SkyReady, and TideReady iOS applications. This policy explains what data each app accesses, how it is used, and your rights.
All Little Loop apps share the same privacy philosophy:
Frame requests access to your photo library so you can select photos to edit. Photos are processed entirely on your device. We never upload, store, or transmit your photos to any server.
All AI features (background swap, cartoon effects, etc.) run on-device using Core ML and ONNX models. No images are sent to cloud services.
Some editing features (face enhancement, portrait effects) use Apple's Core Image face detection to locate faces within a photo. Frame detects face bounding box coordinates only — the rectangular region where a face appears. No facial features, geometry, templates, embeddings, or biometric identifiers are collected.
Face coordinates are used solely to apply visual effects (skin smoothing, brightness adjustments, artistic distortions) to the face region during the current editing session. Face data is never shared with any third party. All detection runs on-device via Apple's Core Image framework.
Face data is not stored. Coordinates exist only in temporary memory during the editing session and are discarded when you close the editor, switch photos, or exit the app. No face data is written to disk or retained in any persistent form.
Frame uses Mixpanel for anonymous usage analytics (e.g., which features are used most). No personally identifiable information is collected. You can opt out in the app's settings.
Subscriptions are managed through Apple's App Store. Payment information is handled entirely by Apple. We do not see or store your payment details.
SkyReady requests your location to provide weather recommendations for where you are. Your location is sent to Apple's WeatherKit API to fetch weather data. We do not store or log your location on any server.
If you enable daily weather notifications, your notification preferences (time of day) are stored locally on your device. No notification data is sent to our servers.
If you enable Event Weather (a Premium feature), SkyReady reads your upcoming calendar events to show the forecast alongside them. Event titles and times are processed on your device only and are never transmitted to our servers or to any third party. Calendar permission is optional and the rest of the app works without it.
SkyReady uses Mixpanel for anonymous usage analytics (e.g., which features are used most and which weather conditions trigger which recommendations). Analytics data is sent to Mixpanel's EU servers. No personally identifiable information is collected.
SkyReady Plus subscriptions are managed through Apple's App Store. We do not see or store your payment details.
TideReady requests your location to find the nearest tidal station and provide coastal conditions for your area. Your coordinates are sent to Apple's WeatherKit for wind and weather data, and to Open-Meteo for marine swell forecasts. Tide data providers (UKHO, NOAA, NIWA, and DFO) receive only the station identifier — not your raw location. We do not store or log your location on any server.
If you log a coastal session and attach photos, those photos are stored locally in the app's private storage on your device. Photos are never uploaded to any server or shared with any third party.
If you choose to sync activity windows, TideReady can add optimal tide windows to a dedicated "TideReady Windows" calendar. Creating that calendar requires full calendar access, but the app only ever writes its own events — it never reads or uses your existing calendar entries. Calendar entries are created on your device only and are not transmitted to our servers. Calendar access is optional and the rest of the app works without it.
TideReady caches tide predictions locally on your device for offline use in areas with poor connectivity. This data is not shared.
TideReady uses Mixpanel for anonymous usage analytics (e.g., which activity modes and locations are most popular). Analytics data is sent to Mixpanel's EU servers. No personally identifiable information is collected. This data helps us decide which new countries to add.
TideReady Pro subscriptions are managed through Apple's App Store. Payment information is handled entirely by Apple. We do not see or store your payment details.

We do not maintain user databases. All user data (preferences, cached content) is stored locally on your device and can be removed by deleting the app.
Our apps are rated 4+ and do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
Under UK GDPR, you have the right to access, rectify, or delete any personal data. Since we do not collect or store personal data on our servers, there is nothing to access or delete. If you have questions, contact us at the address below.
